New work has to be assigned a category before an author can start to work. It can also be discarded.The result of this is the status "Work in progress" which means that the author can start to work. An author can be a Topic- member or editor.

The author can now work and save versions to Arctis. When finished he approves the latest version and tells ediitor to commit his work.
